Coroner identifies man found dead after apartment complex shooting

The Clark County coroner Monday has identified the man police found dead after a shooting in the parking lot of a central valley apartment complex Sunday morning.

Antoine Toma Williams, 21, of Henderson was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in the parking lot of the Hampton Court Apartments, 3955 Swenson St., between East Twain Avenue and East Flamingo Road.

Police said witnesses reported two black men and a Hispanic or white man were arguing with Williams before shots rang out. Immediately after the shooting, several people were seen running and multiple vehicles were seen leaving the complex.

No arrests have been made in this case, police said; the motive is unknown.

This is the 101st homicide investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department this year.
