Man injured in March traffic accident has died, police say

An 81-year-old man who was injured in a March traffic accident has died, Las Vegas police said Wednesday.

Las Vegas resident Stanley Betts was seriously injured March 27 after a collision with another vehicle ejected him from his pickup truck.

The crash occurred on West Charleston Boulevard west of the 215 Beltway, near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Betts was taken to University Medical Center after the crash.

According to the Clark County coroner’s office, Betts died Aug. 12 from complications of blunt force injuries. The death was ruled an accident.
