Ryland neighborhood opens

Ryland Homes is selling homes in Quintessa and Tacinga Ridge, two new neighborhoods in the Mountain’s Edge master-planned community.

Quintessa and Tacinga Ridge are both near community parks and a brand-new road with direct access to Interstate 15.

Amenities for residents of the gated Quintessa neighborhood include a pool with beach-style entry, hot tub, showers and bathrooms in the pool area, a barbecue area with grills and table seating and two putting greens for golfers.

Quintessa offers five two-three-story single-family home designs ranging from 1,699 to 2,454 square feet. All three-story homes include Ryland’s rooftop deck; all two-story homes offer them as options.

“Our neighborhood is on Cactus Avenue near the (Interstate 15) overpass that is being completed and scheduled to open by the end of the year,” Quintessa sales counselor Joseph Bell said.

The freeway entry will give residents quick access to I-15 and a shorter commute to major centers including Town Square, McCarran International Airport and the Strip, Bell said.

Among Quintessa’s popular floor plans is the three-story Romano which includes a rooftop deck.

“People really like this home because it has a bedroom, a bathroom and an entertaining space on every floor,” Bell said. “And the rooftop deck is 23 feet by 18 feet, which is larger than a standard bedroom. It has an option for a fireplace, which really makes it a nice entertaining space.”

Tacinga Ridge is a gated neighborhood with pool-sized home sites. Five floor plans are offered and range from 2,203 to 2,752 square feet. Homes include oversized backyards.

Tacinga Ridge is near the Mountain’s Edge Regional Park, which opens its first phase this year. The phase will include picnic facilities with open grass play areas, benches, shade structures, play amenities and restrooms along with 1½ miles of trails. Future park phases will include a regional center, cultural center, skate park, performing arts amphitheater, festival area, multiuse sports fields, practice softball and baseball fields, playground and spray features.

Tacinga Ridge is also close to Doral Academy, a new charter school.
