Jacob deGrom won his fourth straight start and Andrew Brown, Zach Lutz and Taylor Teagarden homered as the 51s rolled to a 19-2 win over the Reno Aces before a crowd of 5,797 on Thursday night at Cashman Field.
It was the second straight win for Pacific Coast League-leading Las Vegas (20-8), which went 8-4 on its season-long 12-game homestand.
Brown belted a two-run shot in the 51s’ six-run third and drilled a two-run double in their seven-run eighth, finishing 4-for-6 with five RBIs.
Lutz launched a solo shot in the sixth and supplied four hits to Las Vegas’ 21-hit attack, and Teagarden hit a two-run blast in the sixth for his team-leading sixth homer.
Anthony Seratelli, Eric Campbell and Matt den Dekker added three hits apiece.
DeGrom (4-0) gave up one run on six hits in 5 1/3 innings, with five strikeouts and one walk, to lower his ERA to 1.89.
