On a conference call ahead of UFC 200, Frankie Edgar said he doesn’t think that reigning champion, Conor McGregor, will come back to the division to defend his title.

A former UFC lightweight champion, Edgar will attempt to avenge his only loss in the featherweight division when he faces former champion Jose Aldo at UFC 200 on July 9th.

Aldo and Edgar are vying for the interim featherweight title. McGregor hasn’t yet confirmed whether or not he will return to fight featherweight and his next bout will be at welterweight.

UFC 200 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Aldo vs. Edgar is one of three championship fights on tap for the main card.
