Rebels’ Zimmerman cleared to return to practice

UNLV freshman forward Stephen Zimmerman Jr., who sprained his left knee Feb. 6 at Fresno State, has been cleared to return to basketball practice.
When Zimmerman will return to action is uncertain, however. The Rebels next play at Boise State at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
UNLV needs Zimmerman to return. The Rebels are down to six healthy scholarship players without Zimmerman, who averages 10.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
