Sunny skies and warm temps for Tuesday in Las Vegas Valley
The Las Vegas Valley will see sunny skies and slightly cooler temperatures as the weekend approaches, the National Weather Service said.
Tuesday had a high of 106 degrees and a low of 80 degrees with light winds, meteorologist Jim Harrison said. Wednesday’s high will be near 106 degrees, Harrison said. These temperatures are about 5 degrees above normal.
Thursday is the beginning of a cooling trend with a high of 101 degrees and windy conditions similar to Wednesday, the weather service said.
Friday’s high should be 99 degrees and gusty winds from the south are expected to reach 20 mph, Harrison said.
Saturday and Sunday will have highs slightly below normal at 98 and 96 degrees, respectively.
