Lady Rebels dealt upset by New Mexico in MWC tourney

The UNLV women’s basketball team, seeded second in the Mountain West Conference tournament, tumbled in the first round to seventh-seeded New Mexico 61-58 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The Lady Rebels (22-9) led 54-45 with eight minutes remaining, but the Lobos (10-19) outscored UNLV 16-4 the rest of the way.
