Triple-digit highs to start and end week in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Valley can expect sunshine and triple-digit temperatures to begin and end this week, the National Weather Service said.

Tuesday was mostly sunny with a high of 101 degrees, the weather service said. The low for Tuesday night is expected to be 75 degrees.

Wednesday’s high is expected to hit 97 degrees, with 10 to 20 mph winds kicking up in the afternoon.

Thursday will be back to average temperatures for this time of year, with a forecast high of 94 degrees. Friday’s high is expected to hit 97 degrees.

Temperatures are forecast to hit triple digits again this weekend, the weather service said.
