Hot and hazy days for Las Vegas Valley weekend

The Las Vegas Valley is heading into a hot and dry weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

“We’re heating up,” weather service meteorologist Dan Berc said. Friday kicked-off the warming trend with a high of 105 degrees. The highs for Saturday, Sunday and Monday should all reach 110 degrees, according to the weather service.

The Clark County Department of Air Quality has forecast moderate levels of smoke and ozone in the air through Monday, but has not issued an advisory for sensitive groups.

Light winds and clear skies should be in effect for the rest of the weekend, Berc said.
