Yayoi Kusama exhibit on Las Vegas Strip extended

Updated February 15, 2019 - 11:15 am

Fifty-five thousand visitors in three months.

The infinity room exhibit “Yayoi Kusama” has drawn that number of viewers since opening in November, becoming one of the most visited exhibitions in the history of Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.

Due to demand, the end date of the exhibit has been extended from April 28 to June 30.

The exhibit features two large-scale installations by Kusama, a world renowned Japanese artist.

“Infinity Mirrored Room: Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity” is a 13.5-foot cube lined with mirrors. Guests are allowed inside one or two at a time to see small lanterns suspended in the darkness.

“Narcissus Garden” is a room full of silver spheres, inviting guests to take in their reflection from numerous angles.

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has garnered international acclaim for her immersive infinity mirrored rooms. “Aftermath” is the first one to open in Las Vegas.

The exhibit opened Nov. 17.
