A man who was involved in a moped crash April 14 died five days later, Las Vegas police announced Wednesday.
Armando Guerrero, 63, was riding a 2007 Honda moped south on Jones Boulevard, south of Richmar Avenue, about 9:10 p.m. when he struck a construction zone sign, police said.
The moped fell onto its side and Guerrero’s head struck the ground. He was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said in a news release Wednesday.
On April 19, the Clark County coroner’s office advised Metro’s fatal detail that Guerrero had died about 6:30 p.m.
Guerrero’s death was caused by blunt force and his manner of death was ruled an accident. This was the 44th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
