Where to get tested for COVID-19 in Clark County

Looking to get tested for the novel coronavirus? Here are sites in Clark County offering tests, but note that not all are open every day. Call or check the organization websites for testing dates and times:

— Boulder City Fire Department: 1101 Elm St., Boulder City; must be a Boulder City resident and have an appointment in advance. Call 702-293-9256 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make an appointment. The weekly testing will be dependent upon staffing availability.

— Cashman Center: 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North; free; walk-ups welcome, though appointments are strongly encouraged. Children of all ages can be tested with parental or guardian consent; visit www.umcsn.com.

— CUUR Diagnostics, Desert Breeze Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road: $125; testing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays; testing stops when daily temperature reaches 110 degrees; no appointment necessary but preregistration encouraged; cuurdiagnostics.com/lasvegas/

— CVS Health. Pharmacy chain is offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing at 18 locations in the Las Vegas Valley. Patients must register in advance at CVS.com to schedule an appointment.

— High school sites, Walk-in testing available in gym at 8 a.m. to noon. No appointment needed. Tests available on first come first serve basis. 400 tests are available on both days. Sites are Valley High School, 2839 Burnham Ave. near Eastern and Sahara avenues, Oct. 22-23, and Silverado High School, 1650 Silver Hawk Ave. near Spencer Street and the 215 Beltway, Nov. 5-6.

— Southern Nevada Health District and Southern Nevada Community Health Center: 280 S. Decatur Blvd.; free testing at the Health District’s main location. This is not a drive-thru testing event; visit www.snhd.info/get-tested/decatur.

— Thomas & Mack Center, UNLV campus, Strip View Pavilion, northwest side: free; open to walk-ups; appointment encouraged. Children of all ages will be tested with parental or guardian consent. Clients’ insurance will be billed a nominal administration fee. Those without insurance will still be able to be tested at no charge; visit www.umcsn.com.

— City of Mesquite: The city offers testing on Tuesdays 8 a.m.-9 a.m. at Fire Station 1 behind City Hall. The testing is open to Mesquite, Bunkerville, Moapa Valley and Mohave County residents only. Visit health.mesquitenv.gov/covid-testing.
