The Raiders signed veteran safety Jamal Adams and four other players Tuesday as part of some last-minute roster tinkering before training camp.
Adams, 29, is a three-time Pro Bowler who previously played for coach Pete Carroll in Seattle. He appeared in five games last season, three with the Titans and two with the Lions.
The Raiders also signed guard Atonio Mafi, safety JT Woods and wide receivers Phillip Dorsett II and Seth Williams. They waived cornerback Mello Dotson, lineback Jailin Walker and wide receivers Zakhari Franklin and Key’Shawn Smith to make room on the roster.
Adams, who is listed at 6-foot-1, 213 pounds, has 501 tackles, 21½ sacks and four interceptions in 85 games over eight NFL seasons. He was selected No. 6 overall by the New York Jets in the 2017 draft out of LSU.
Dorsett, 32, has 151 catches for 2,001 yards and 12 touchdowns in eight NFL seasons. The 2015 first-round pick out of Miami (Florida) did not play last year.

The Raiders’ first training camp practice is Wednesday at their Henderson practice facility.
