It was warm on Halloween but not a record. Not even close.

The high Friday in the Las Vegas Valley was 81 degrees, the National Weather Service said, 6 degrees above normal. The record high for the date is 86, set in 1988.

In contrast, the high on Halloween in 2024 was 68 degrees, 7 degrees below normal.

Official temperatures are recorded at Harry Reid International Airport.

Saturday: 83, sunny (record: 87 in 1988)

Sunday: 83, sunny (record: 86 in 2015).
