2017 F-150 Platinum is the complete truck at Friendly Ford

The 2017 Ford F-150 Platinum pickup at Friendly Ford has been drawing a crowd of buyers that appreciate luxury and performance.

The 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 is standard with the Platinum, while the 3.5-liter EcoBoost and the 10-speed transmission are both optional. Other key features on the F-150 Platinum include power-deployable running boards, remote tailgate release, tailgate step, multi-contour massage seats, and panorama moon roof, and more.

Dealership sales consultant Rob Blankenship said the Platinum F-150 has the ideal package to suit the wants and needs of today’s on-the-go customers. He said the Platinum also includes available equipment such as larger shocks with the FX4 off-road package and skid plates.

“Next to the Raptor, this is the best truck money can buy,” Blankenship said. “It has everything and the ride is super nice.”

He also touted the available features inside the Platinum that include heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel and the Sync Connect, which allows the owner to start the vehicle from his or her phone by using an app.

“The truck is super user-friendly,” said Blankenship, a native Las Vegan whose family has been in Southern Nevada for more than 80 years.

The F-150 has been the No. 1 selling vehicle for the past 40 years.

“There’s good reason for the F-150 continually being named the top selling truck for more than four decades,” said Blankenship, whose grandfather, Bill Koerwitz, owned Sierra Construction and built Friendly Ford 47 years ago.
