Golf Alltrack receives excellent response at Findlay North VW

In a region with a diverse offering of climates and terrains, Volkswagen has introduced a new model to meet the needs of Southern Nevada residents.

The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack comes equipped with a 1.8-liter turbo-charged and intercooled in-line four-cylinder engine generating 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque at 4,500 rpm. The all-wheel drive Alltrack is bolstered by electronic stability control, ABS and driveline traction control, side impact beams, dual stage driver and passenger seat-mounted side air bags and low tire pressure warning.

The four-door, five-passenger Alltrack also has VW Car-Net Emergency SOS, rear child safety locks, a backup camera and outboard front lap and shoulder safety belts, height adjusters and pretensioners.

The Alltrack’s entertainment package is highlighted by Composition Media with 6.5-inch touch screen, AM-FM/HD radio, CD, USB and eight-speakers and Bluetooth connectivity.

Doug Fleming, general manager of Findlay North Volkswagen and Findlay Volkswagen, said the Alltrack has everything for outdoor-minded residents of Southern Nevada. The Alltrack gets a combined city/highway fuel mileage of 25 miles to the gallon.

“There is so much opportunity all around our great city to go on an adventure,” said Fleming, a 16-year employee with Findlay Automotive Group. “The new VW Alltrack is an excellent choice to create a memory.”

Fleming said the Alltrack was first delivered during the last week of September.

“We had an excellent response as soon as it arrived,” Fleming said. “As much fun as the new VW Alltrack is, most people also buy it because of its safety. Because the Alltrack is an all-wheel-drive wagon, it’s also perfect for taking your pets along for the adventure.

“The Alltrack is definitely a pet-friendly vehicle.”

Situated at 7500 W. Azure Drive, Findlay North Volkswagen is part of Findlay Automotive Group founded in 1961 by the late Pete Findlay, whose son, Cliff, spearheads automobile dealerships in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho.
