Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas’ signature restaurant Twist by Pierre Gagnaire is the only venue in the United States where patrons can experience the cuisine of celebrated French Chef Pierre Gagnaire. The owner of highly-acclaimed restaurants across the globe, Gagnaire has garnered three Michelin stars for his eponymous restaurant in Paris, France.
One of the world’s most artistic and acclaimed chefs, Gagnaire opened Twist in 2009. Twist received the coveted Forbes Five Star Award for 2017. Located on the 23rd floor of Mandarin Oriental, Twist boasts a menu of classic French cuisine with a contemporary edge.
Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a dramatic glass staircase leading up to a suspended wine loft, Twist’s most striking feature is arguably its lighting, which incorporates more than 300 gold globes designed to look as if they’re floating in the air across the ceiling.
Twist’s seasonal menu of steak, chicken, duck, seafood and more infuses the simplicity of classic French cuisine with a modern spin, spotlighting a pairing of flavors and textures for which Gagnaire is renowned. Five, six and
seven-course tasting menus are available, with a seven-course tasting menu with seven wines priced at $777. Lucky!
The Adam D. Tihany-designed Twist seats 74, and elevated tables allow guests views from floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Las Vegas Strip. Twist is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, closed Sundays and Monday.
