Las Vegas police searching for June convenience store robbery suspects

Las Vegas police are searching for suspects in a June convenience store robbery.

On June 10, around 5 a.m. an armed robbery took place at Topaz Market at 2570 East Tropicana Ave. near South Topaz Street.

Two suspects entered the business while the clerk was mopping the floor, according to police.

The first suspect pointed a handgun a the clerk and demanded money from the register. Both suspects then removed the money from the register and cabinets.

One of the suspects then ripped the phone out of the wall and demanded the clerk’s cellphone. Both suspects are seen on video running away from the store.

The first suspect can be described as a white man, age 25 to 30, 5-foot-9, weighing 170 pounds and wearing a black bandana covering the face, a black beanie, gray shirt with a logo on the right sleeve, dark-colored jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect can be described as a black male, age 20 to 25, between 5-foot-11 and 6 feet, 170 pounds, with black hair wearing a dark blue fisherman-style hat, red bandana covering the face, and a black jacket with the logo “Jeanius Society.”
