Police looking for suspects who robbed 2 businesses within 30 minutes

Las Vegas police seek the public’s help in locating two men who robbed two different businesses in the southeast valley Sunday morning.

Between 5:30-6 a.m., the suspects confronted employees and used handguns to steal money and merchandise from a business located in the 5000 block of East Tropicana Avenue and another in the 4100 block of South Eastern Avenue, police said. No one was injured during the two incidents and both were captured on video surveillance.

Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic man, about 18 to 20 years old, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and two blue bandanas over his face.

Police described the second suspect as a white man, about 18 to 20 years old, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with burgundy sleeves, white shorts and two blue bandanas over his face.
