Black and white weekend

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, aka Mickey Mouse’s predecessor, will be celebrated with meet-and-greets, book signings and a special performance from Friday to Sunday. Artist Dave Bossert will sign copies of “Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: The Search for the Lost Disney Cartoons” over the weekend, and the Broadway Collective of the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts will perform at 3 p.m. Saturday. ArtTrain

City Lights Art Gallery will have its annual art event, featuring original fine art by more than 20 local artists, on board the Nevada Southern Railway from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The fundraiser for the gallery’s scholarship fund will include live music, raffles for artwork, hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
