Johnny Manziel returns to Las Vegas party scene

Johnny Football may be flirting with a new nickname: Johnny Vegas.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel, who has been courting criticism with his partying, was back in Las Vegas over the weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Two months ago Manziel tooks hits from the media for partying in Las Vegas shortly after he was drafted.

Manziel, the Texas A&M star who in 2012 became the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy, made the rounds in Las Vegas.

Spies said he stayed in the Real World Suite at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with friends, partied at XS nightclub at Encore and dined at STK, the steakhouse at The Cosmopolitan.

After being touted by some experts as a surefire early first-round pick in the NFL draft, Manziel fell to the 22nd spot.
