Check out what the Smith Center has to offer in 2016

Newcomers from Liza Minnelli to the Beach Boys join such returnees as Chick Corea and Bela Fleck, Engelbert Humperdinck, the Tenors and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in 2016.

Minnelli becomes the latest Strip headliner to play The Smith Center's Reynolds Hall with her "Great Day" show April 29.

Other musical attractions scheduled for the winter/spring season include the Tenors (Feb. 20), Engelbert Humperdinck (March 19), Yanni (March 21), Kristen Chenoweth (March 25), the Alan Parsons Live Project (March 26), Corea and Fleck (April 23), the Beach Boys (April 30) and Mariachi Sol de Mexico (May 6).

On the classical music front, virtuoso violinist Pinchas Zukerman serves as guest conductor and soloist with the Royal Philhamonic Orchestra Jan. 17, while th Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Reynolds Hall April 19 and 20.

In The Smith Center's Cabaret Jazz, Lucie Arnaz (who co-starred in "Pippin") returns with her "Latin Roots" show Jan. 15 and 16, while two-time Tony-winner Christine Ebersole returns with "Big Noise From Winnetka" Jan. 22 and 23.

Other Cabaret Jazz attractions include Grammy-winner Lisa Fischer (Feb. 19-20), singer Lucy Woodward (Feb. 26-27), Hawaiian legends Keola Beamer & Henry Kapono(Jan. 29 and 30), a Beatles tribute teaming Lon Bronson and his All-Star Band with vocalist Brody Dolyniuk (Jan. 20), multicultural Lao Tizer (April 1-2), and singer Julie Budd's "Remembering Mr. Sinatra" (April 15-16), plus pianist Monty Alexander's "A Night at Jilly's: Sinatra at 100" (May 13-14) and a Doo-Wopp Hall of Fame concert (May 20-21).

Also returning to the intimate club: Cheyenne Jackson with "Music of the Mad Men Era" (March 11-12), singer-pianist Tony DeSare's "From Sinatra to Prince" (March 25-26), Grammy-winning trumpeter Arturo Sandoval (April 23-23) and former "Jersey Boys" star Erich Bergen (April 29-30).

Speaking of returnees, the Troesh Studio Theater welcomes such comedies as Steve Solomon's "My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm Still in Therapy! The Chaos Continues" (April 21-24) and "Dixie's Tupperware Party" (May 17-22).

And the previously announced Broadway Las Vegas season brings such Tony-winning musicals as "The Bridges of Madison County" (Feb. 23-28), "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" (March 8-13) and "Beauty and the Beast" (April 8-17) to Reynolds Hall.
