Gina’s Bistro, 4226 S. Durango Drive (south of Flamingo Road)
Riccardo Santamaria and his uncle Giuseppe Consarino — both natives of Genoa, Italy — took over Gina’s Bistro last May. Consarino owned Roma Deli and More Than Bread until about a year and a half ago, Santamaria said, and “we started this new adventure.” The chef, who’s from Sicily, used to be the chef at Roma Deli. Here’s a sample from the menu:

Entrees: Spaghetti Pomodoro, $9.95; Spaghetti Primavera, $14.95; Strozzapreti alla Norcina, $15.95; Ravioli d’Aragosta, $17.95; Melanzane alla Parmigiana, $14.95; Sole alla Francaise, $18.50; Cioppino, $20.95; chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and provolone in a wild mushroom sauce, $18.95.
The restaurant is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 4 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Call 341-1800.
