Table 34 chef Wes Kendrick will debut new vegan menu items during the Las Vegas Eats dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday (July 24) at the restaurant at 600 E. Warm Springs Road. The five-course plant-based menu with an entree of grilled eggplant stack with zucchini, wild mushrooms, roasted peppers and marinara is $42; visit LasVeganEatzEventsJuly.BrownPaperTickets.com.

Table 34, celebrating its 10th anniversary, also is selecting a local charity each month as recipient of a portion of sales of a special menu; during July, the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation will receive $5 for each menu sold. …

Wednesday (July 23) is National Hot Dog Day, and at least two local restaurants are participating:

Rockhouse at the Grand Canal Shoppes is offering signature hot dogs at 50 percent off all day. They include The Hot Mess, a foot long topped with chili, cheese, sauerkraut, tomatoes, green chilies, diced onions and chipotle mayo, normally priced at $15.95.

And The Wiener’s Circle at Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., will feature The Big Unit, named in honor of former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson: a two-foot-long hot dog in four buns, with mustard, relish, onion, pickle, tomato, celery salt and sport peppers, $20, plus BOGO on its signature Char Dogs. …

Thursday (July 24) is National Tequila Day, and a number of local establishments are celebrating with specials. Among them:

Rhumbar at the Mirage is introducing the Pina Picante (pictured), with Milagro Reposada Select Barrel Tequila, yellow chartreuse, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno and sweet agave nectar, $12.

Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor is offering flights of three shots from among five tequilas, and the Chonga, a giant frozen margarita served with two upside-down Sol beers, $20, and buckets of Sol beer, $18.

Cabo Wabo at the Miracle Mile Shops is offering half-priced tequila shots and margarita specials from Monday through Thursday. Margarita flavors include mango picante, margarita verde, strawberry, Cabo Wabo sangarita and cocorita, starting at $10.

Mercadito at Red Rock Resort will feature its signature margaritas, which include The Turista (with grapefruit and preserved cherries), Little Market (with fresh pineapple juice and cilantro), the Misty Sleeve (with ginger and hibiscus) and more.

Both locations of Nacho Daddy, at 9925 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson and 113 N. Fourth St. in downtown Las Vegas, will serve $8 Chili Ancho Milagro Margaritas and $5 shots of Milagro Silver all day, and offer free salsa dancing lessons from 8 to 9 p.m. and a DJ until midnight. Admission is free.

And the Salted Lime at Aliante Casino + Hotel, 7300 N. Aliante Parkway in North Las Vegas, will have drink specials including $2 Tequila Cazadores margaritas and half-price tequila shots from 3 to 10 p.m. …
