Chick-Fil-A’s Southern Nevada locations will likely open in 2017

Fans of Chick-Fil-A will have to hold off on their excitement for the restaurant’s Southern Nevada expansion, as the eateries won’t be completed this year as previously expected.

After news broke last May that Chick-Fil-A would be opening its first location in the valley at Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road in Henderson, City of Las Vegas confirmed that the company would debut a second Southern Nevada location at Sahara Aevnue and Rancho Drive.

Although both locations were expected to open this year, it doesn’t look like Las Vegans will be able to chow down on the restaurant’s chicken sandwiches and waffle-cut fries just yet.

In an email regarding the status of the highly anticipated eateries, Chick-Fil-A representatives said the company has yet to break ground on its future restaurants in Southern Nevada.

The fast-food chain went on to say it looks forward to serving guests in Nevada in early 2017.

Southern Nevada can expect to see eight to 10 Chick-Fil-A locations open in the valley within the next five years.
