Pasta Shop Ristorante & Art Gallery
2525 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, 702-451-1893
Making fresh pasta is considered an art, but Pasta Shop Ristorante owner David Alenik added a whole new aspect to the art form by combining his restaurant with an art gallery. The Pasta Shop Ristorante opened about 25 years ago after Alenik served as a personal chef to Steve Wynn. Paintings and sculptures, courtesy of his wife, Ann, cover the walls and add to the restaurant’s homey atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for any dining occasion. Appetizers include fresh mozzarella and plum tomatoes, shrimp scampi and an array of salads. Lunch options include a Mediterranean salad (tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, Kalamata olives and oregano in a balsamic vinaigrette), a meatball sandwich and four-cheese ravioli. Lunch entrees range from $9.95 to $15.50. Dinner plates include linguine with meatballs, a brick-oven Greek pizza (feta cheese, tomatoes, Kalamata olives and oregano) and chicken Parmesan. Dinner entrees range from $10.95 to $28.95. The restaurant also offers gluten-free and vegan dishes upon request. Appetizers, dessert and wine also are available. The Pasta Shop Ristorante & Art Gallery is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
