Commonwealth and Park on Fremont owners Ryan Doherty, Justin Weniger and Kenna Warner are at it again, only this time in Henderson with Whist Stove & Spirits. The trio, which also runs Blvd. Cocktail Company at The Linq, opened Whist in late October. It includes the same modern chic decor as its sister restaurants, featuring vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and mismatched furniture. Dinner entrees include yardbird (chicken) with vegetables, bistro filet and Spanish bass. Pasta and risotto options include lobster fettuccine, house-made ravioli, wild mushroom risotto and seafood risotto. Most dinner dishes range from $15 and $22. Crafted cocktails include the Whoa! Blossom (Bombay Sapphire gin, Creme Yvette liqueur, orange blossom, lemon juice and egg white) and Rosemary’s Baby (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, rosemary, house-made grenadine, lemon, raspberries and Barritt’s ginger beer). Appetizers, salads and side dishes are also available. Although children are permitted inside the restaurant, the atmosphere and menu caters mostly to adults.
