New York’s Black Tap bringing famous shakes to Las Vegas Strip

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer will open its newest location this winter at The Venetian, bringing award-winning burgers and viral milkshakes to the Las Vegas Strip. The opening marks Black Tap’s first expansion in the U.S. beyond its four New York locations.

The restaurant is helmed by Michelin starred Las Vegas chef Joe Isidori and Chris Barish of Light, Martini Park, Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill and Gordon Ramsay Steak.

“Las Vegas is a second home to me, making this opening incredibly special,” says Barish. “The Venetian is the perfect home for Black Tap and we’re thrilled to be partnering with their incredible team to bring Black Tap to even more people around the world.”

Black Tap Las Vegas will be located adjacent to The Venetian Poker Room, and will feature patio dining that overlooks the resort’s outdoor canals.

The menu will feature Black Tap’s craft burgers including the All-American Burger and the award winning Greg Norman Burger with wagyu beef, house buttermilk-dill, blue cheese and arugula.

Black Tap’s signature chicken items like the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and award-winning Spicy Korean BBQ wings toasted with sesame seed, scallion and buttermilk-dill dressing will also be included on the menu.

Black Tap’s famous CrazyShakes™ menu will include the original Cotton Candy strawberry shake with a blue and pink pearl chocolate rim, a pink lollipop, rock candy, whipped cream and cotton candy, and newcomer the Bam Bam Fruity Pebbles shake, with a fruity pebbles rim and rice krispy treat, a strawberry pop tart and a nerds rope.

“We are thrilled to be the first out-of-state home for the most Instagrammed restaurant in New York City,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo.

This won’t be Black Tap’s first foray into Las Vegas. Black Tap collaborated with Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken in Downtown Summerlin in January.

The Black and Blue collaboration produced the month’s featured burger, Nashville-style spicy chicken with pickles and a bun spread with Black Tap’s signature buttermilk-dill dressing.
