Mariah Carey gets on her Vegas groove

Mariah Carey got her some Tyson Beckford and Chippendales love Thursday night. She stepped on the Rio stage and was treated to a chair dance.

She put out photos of her with Chippendales guest dancer Beckford, the supermodel, to her 15.4 million Twitter followers.

“I have no idea how I got here,” she feigned in a coy, Kewpie Doll-ish post of smiley faces and jokes claiming she’s a “prude” and “eternally12.”

The city’s top reviewer, Mike Weatherford, gave Carey’s new Caesars Palace show a “B” in this very newspaper (or website).

You can hear me, and actor-singer-dancer Tim Tucker, say nice and slightly NSFW things about Carey’s performance on Friday’s “Doug Elfman Show” (iTunes, Android podcast apps, and DougElfman.com).

Carey ended her Wednesday performance with a new breakup-with-Nick-Cannon-spite song called “Infinity.”

That angry tune seemed like an upset way to break fans’ magic spell of happy sugar-puff unicorn rainbows. But Mariah Carey can do whatever she wants.
