Century Communities opens northwest neighborhood

Century Communities is springing forward with new neighborhoods this season. Today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Century Communities is celebrating its newest neighborhood in northwest Las Vegas. Meadow Ridge is an intimate collection of 76 single- and two-story homes. The gated neighborhood offers large home sites and an ideal location near the area’s top employment, dining and shopping destinations.

“These are some of the larger home sites we offer in Southern Nevada,” said Hadley Goddard, sales manager for Century Communities. “They are perfect for those who want a little extra space and privacy.”

“Each rear yard at Meadow Ridge averages 40 to 50 feet deep,” Goddard said. “They are perfect for pools, play structures, outdoor gardens or putting greens. And the location near Horse Drive and North Jones Boulevard is a bit removed from the congestion of the city while nearby some of the northwest area’s best shopping and dining.”

During today’s event, Century Communities will offer home shoppers light refreshments, model home tours and a chance to win an iPad Air 2.

Meadow Ridge offers five floor plans ranging from 2,173 to 4,092 square feet. Two of the homes are single-story designs less than 2,500 square feet. The other three homes to be built at Meadow Ridge are two-story designs from 3,600 square feet and larger.

One single-story plan and two two-story plans are being shown as model homes at Meadow Ridge. “They are beautifully decorated and are certain to provide guests with inspiration for their new homes,” Goddard said.

Among the model homes open at Meadow Ridge is a two-story, 3,889-square-foot residence with as many as six bedrooms and as many as 4½ baths.

“This is a very spacious home with an optional first floor bedroom suite,” Goddard said. “A second floor loft can be built as an additional bedroom and the owner’s suite can be built with its own retreat.

Every home at Meadow Ridge will include granite kitchen countertops, 42-inch maple wood cabinetry with 3-inch crown molding, 10-foot ceilings on the main level, multislide glass walls and covered patios for a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience, paver driveways and walkways and stainless-steel appliances. Homes will also feature 17-inch-by-17-inch tile in kitchens, entryways and wet areas.

Century’s gourmet kitchen package will be included with every new home at Meadow Ridge.

“If you love to cook and entertain, you will certainly love our kitchens,” Goddard said.

Stainless-steel appliances are included with each home and residents will enjoy a 36-inch five-burner cooktop with designer hood, microwave, dishwasher and wall oven.

“Our kitchens also include granite countertops and large gourmet cooking islands, making the kitchen one of the focal gathering points of the home,” Goddard said. “Whether you are making a quick dinner for your family or entertaining friends, they will love spending time in your kitchen.”

And at the end of a long day, Goddard said Meadow Ridge residents will enjoy the quiet respite their owner’s suites provide. Each Meadow Ridge owner’s suite includes spacious bedrooms, walk-in closets with ample storage space, 6-foot drop-in tubs and separate showers. “They are designed to be inviting and private spaces to get away from the world,” she said.

Meadow Ridge is one of two new Century Communities neighborhoods springing up in March. The builder’s Parkview neighborhood in southwest Las Vegas will open next weekend.

“Parkview is a collection of all our latest floor plans,” Goddard said.

Parkview is gated and will have its own community pool, park, playground and outdoor basketball court.

Century Communities will be opening two more new neighborhoods in April and May.

With the exception of Cambria, all Century Communities sales offices and model homes are open Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday noon to 6 p.m. Cambria is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For more information, visit www.centurycommunities.com/nevada.
