Inspirada ranks eighth in the nation for sales

Inspirada rings in the new year with another milestone and celebrates its ranking as the eighth top-selling community in the United States, according to the end-of-year report released by RCLCO, a leading national real estate consulting firm. Home sales came in at an impressive 837 for 2017, a 48 percent increase from the 564 home sales during the previous year. This is the third consecutive year the evolving community has been included in the top 10 list for best master-planned communities in the country.

“At RCLCO, we are committed to providing key economic and market analyses, so when we observed how Inspirada continues to evolve and exemplify what it means to be a master-planned community, it was no surprise that it came in eighth on our list,” said Todd LaRue, managing director at RCLCO. “Inspirada’s broad product segmentation strategy, dynamic lifestyle and resident programming make it one of the most desirable communities in the country for a variety of household compositions and lifestyles, including young and mature families, business professionals and retirees.”

Located in Henderson just minutes from Interstate 15, Inspirada is made up of five nationally acclaimed and award-winning builders, including Beazer Homes, Century Communities, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers. It features 1,500 acres and is home to more than 2,500 households, whose residents have access to 85 acres of parks, comprised of recreational and fitness areas, various sporting fields and walking and jogging trails. Homebuyers can tour nearly 45 new model homes in 14 different neighborhoods, finding homes suited for every lifestyle, with prices starting in the low $200,000s to more than $500,000. Inspirada’s dedicated association works year-round to plan family-friendly and pet-friendly activities. From summer barbecues to holiday-inspired gatherings, including Halloween costume contests and home decorating competitions in December, Inspirada is committed to personally getting to know residents by name and creating unique, innovative events that enable residents to create wonderful memories with their families and neighbors.

Inspirada’s planned growth was recently demonstrated with the opening of Fire Station 91 last October, which was especially memorable for the city of Henderson, which hasn’t opened a fire station since 2002. The city’s 10th fire station, which will be LEED-certified, boasts a 10,998-square-foot building that houses three apparatus bays, training facilities, equipment and supply storage and accommodations for firefighters.

Additional projects paving the way for Inspirada’s master plan include a 3-mile roadway extension, starting where Via Inspirada and Bicentennial Parkway meet and connecting to Las Vegas Boulevard. The infrastructure, expected to be completed this spring, will open up alternate access to and from the community and provide highway access. Last summer, Inspirada also opened the doors to Jolly Mart, a convenient market where shoppers can find items such as snacks, fresh produce, office and school supplies, pet needs and specialty gifts for sale.

Inspirada is surrounded by multiple top-rated elementary, middle and high schools, attracting many young families with school-aged children. Within the community is Pinecrest Academy Inspirada campus, a certified STEAM and state-funded charter school, which completed Phase II with the addition of a middle school offering a dozen new classrooms, as well as education and science classes. At capacity, the school will offer five classes per grade level and will serve up to 1,200 students. Inspirada will celebrate the opening of its first Clark County School District elementary school this fall. The school is near Capriola Park and will house more than 50 classrooms and accommodate approximately 850 students between pre-kindergarten and fifth grade.

Currently, Inspirada elementary students are zoned for Wallin Elementary School, also a STEAM school, which was nominated for a Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence last year, and middle school-aged students are zoned for Del Webb Middle School, which recently implemented a Nevada Ready 21 technology grant, enabling the faculty to provide Chromebooks for all students so they may access online resources. Inspirada’s high school students attend Liberty High School, which broke a record with a 92 percent graduation rate for the class of 2017, making it one of the highest in the CCSD among non-magnet schools. Liberty also has more students taking Advanced Placement courses and passing the corresponding exams for college credit and is home to a nationally top-ranked football team, as well as girls’ basketball, softball, track and field teams ranked among the best teams in the state.

Inspirada’s four parks — Aventura, Capriola, Potenza and Solista — feature volleyball, soccer, bocce and tennis, walking and jogging on the trails, dog parks, barbecue areas and resident-only swimming pools. Inspirada is home to all Durango Soccer League practices, games and milestone ceremonies. Inspirada is also the gateway to Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, a 4-mile loop that features unique wildlife, seasonal waterfalls, rock art and more than 1,600 petroglyphs.

Located in Henderson just minutes from I-15, Inspirada is made up of five nationally-acclaimed and award-winning builders, including Beazer Homes, Century Communities, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers. Inspirada Builders LLC is the developer of residential villages 1-7, per the agreement with the city of Henderson that enables the projected build-out of 8,500 homes. Homebuyers can tour nearly 70 new model homes in 15 different neighborhoods, with prices starting in the low $200,000s to $500,000. Inspirada is home to more than 4,000 residents, who have access to programs and activities managed by a full-time staff that creates social calendars to bring neighbors together in the parks and the Inspirada Community Center.
