Tahoe Glenbrook home lists for $10.5M

One of Glenbrook’s most upscale estates was recently listed for $10.5 million.

The property has an indoor pool, wine cellar, sauna, elevator and views of Lake Tahoe. The 6,383-square-foot home, called the “Spirit of the Lake,” sits on three-quarters of an acre. The listing also includes the adjacent 1-acre lot. It is listed by Claudia Thompson of Oliver Luxury Real Estate.

With four bedrooms and 3½ baths, there is an office, great room with fireplace and panoramic views, formal living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, game room and studio space above the three-car garage. An elevator provides access to all five levels of the home while smart-home capabilities offer modern comfort. Private balconies, pine flooring, stone patios and terraces enhance the space.

Located on the East Shore, Glenbrook is one of Lake Tahoe’s most esteemed communities. The gated neighborhood has fewer than 300 homes with half a mile of sandy beach and 750 acres of forestland.

“It’s incredibly private,” Thompson said. “It’s nestled on a gated street within a gated community and offers some of the best views of the lake I’ve ever seen. Every room in the house showcases Lake Tahoe.”
