William Lyon opens new-home models

There's an old saying: "Be happy in anticipation of what is coming."

For those who have been watching the progress of William Lyon Homes' newest neighborhood in The Paseos at Summerlin, that anticipation is about to pay off: The new model homes at Allegra are now open.

"Since the site of Allegra was first selected, everyone at our company has been looking forward to its development because we knew it was going to be something very special," said Linda Kemper, vice president of forward planning for William Lyon Homes.

"As construction advanced over these past few months and visitors began to discover Allegra's exceptional properties — from the unique homesite elevation changes to the dynamic new floor plans that were designed specifically for this location — the response has been overwhelmingly positive. That's why we're thrilled to announce the Allegra model homes are now open for public viewing."

Perched on the western edge of the city, Allegra is in a prime location where residents will enjoy original home designs with unmatched view opportunities of the valley. It has access to all the surrounding amenities — the Spring Mountains, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and hiking and biking trails.

Residents also will find sophisticated shopping and dining nearby, which includes Downtown Summerlin, acres of community parks, schools, office and entertainment areas and the I-215 Beltway.

At Allegra, three two-story plans are ranging from 2,964 to 3,323 square feet. Each incorporates a design of generous gathering spaces with bar areas. Priced from the low $500,000s, only 87 homesites are planned in this gated Summerlin community.

Plan One includes a spacious master suite on the first level within its 2,964 square feet. Access to the home is through a covered exterior entry and a spacious foyer that ushers visitors into a voluminous, light-filled great room. This scene may also be framed by optional multi-slide glass doors to a covered loggia that offers access from all three interior spaces — dining room, great room, and master bedroom. Up to three additional bedrooms — or two bedrooms and a loft — are available on the second level, with two covered miradors at the rear of the home that add generous exterior living areas to the adjacent quarters.

Plan Two measures 3,099 square feet. Greeted by a covered entry courtyard and foyer that opens onto a grand design of an inviting gathering space, this home showcases a great room, dining room and a kitchen that occupy the entire rear of this plan. An adjacent and expansive covered loggia embraces easy exterior living from the elegant indoor areas. One bedroom is found on the first floor with a private bath while the master suite and two additional bedrooms are on the second level. High-volume ceilings rise above the great room and the foyer to the floor above, and the entirety is accented by a dramatic staircase configuration.

With the addition of a formal dining room, Allegra's Plan Three has a more traditional appeal in its 3,323 square feet. A massive great room has adjacent covered loggia and occupies most of the rear of the home. A kitchen and bar complete the interior first level, along with an oversized third-car garage. The master suite features its own covered mirador and is on the upper floor, along with as many as three additional bedrooms.

Extensive upgrade personalizing opportunities are available for all homes at Allegra from floor to ceiling, as presented by the professional consultants at the new William Lyon Homes Design Studio in nearby Downtown Summerlin.

William Lyon Homes, which has been building houses for more than 60 years, offers a three-year warranty and service program. It includes a 30-day after-move-in checkup with annual visits for the first three years to review general warranty service items and 24/7 emergency on-call service (certain conditions apply).

To visit Allegra, exit I-215 the Beltway at Far Hills Avenue, head west and follow the signs. The onsite sales office and model homes are at 260 Tarragona Breeze Ave. in Las Vegas. Models are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Mondays, when they close at 1 p.m. For additional information, visit LyonHomes.com/Nevada, or call 702-604-1353.
