1 dead in fatal east valley crash
At least one person is dead after a crash in the east valley, according to Las Vegas police.
Metro officers were called at 6:40 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Frank Street, west of North Nellis Boulevard, according to the department's traffic site.
One person died in the wreck, Metro Lt. Harry Demetres said just before 7 p.m.
No further details were available, Demetres said.
