Body found in car at Rainbow and Charleston parking lot

A woman’s body was found in a west valley parking lot late Thursday afternoon.

About 5:00 p.m., Las Vegas police responded to a call from a parking lot at the intersection of Rainbow and Charleston boulevards, where they found the body in a car, said Metro Lt. Patrick Charoen.

Charoen would not specify how long the body had been there, or if foul play was suspected. The spokesman said the cause of death would be determined by the Clark County coroner’s office.
