Broken throttle on plane forces emergency landing

Two people flying an airplane with a broken throttle landed safely in Henderson on Sunday morning, according to police.
At 11:37 a.m., Henderson police responded to a call from the pilot of the airplane, who said the plane had a broken throttle and needed to make an emergency landing.
The plane landed safely at 11:49 a.m. at Henderson Executive Airport, and was taxied-in by staff, Henderson Police spokeswoman Michelle French said. Neither of the two passengers were injured.
