Building Homes on Earth Day

Shawn Hall of Sulphur Springs, Texas, in town for the DirecTV Dealers Conference, helps build a Habitat for Humanity home Monday in North Las Vegas. In celebration of Earth Day, Hall and 99 other volunteers here for the conference worked on three homes in the 2800 block of East Colton Avenue that will benefit families in need. The homes, expected to be completed in the summer, will be certified energy smart and water smart.
