An 8-year-old girl suffered only minor injuries after being struck by a U-Haul moving truck in the northeast valley Tuesday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.
The girl, Ivona Scott, fell off of her bicycle into the street while she was riding home with a friend at 1:46 p.m. at U-Haul Moving and Storage, 5250 Craig Road near the intersection at Las Vegas Boulevard, according to Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer.
She was treated by medical personnel at the business. Police initially said she would go to the hospital.
No citations were issued, according to police.
