Coroner identifies pedestrian killed on Las Vegas Boulevard North

The man struck and killed by a car Aug. 13 has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Roy Dean Robnett, 69, died from blunt force injuries, the coroner’s office said. His death was ruled an accident.

North Las Vegas police said a man was crossing Las Vegas Boulevard North near Lake Mead Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a sedan about 11:30 p.m.

The man, later identified as Robnett, was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.

Police said the sedan’s driver wasn’t injured, and impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
