March 27, 2015 - 3:33 pm
Dooley Elementary School in Henderson was placed on lockdown late Friday morning after a report of gunshots fired nearby but the lockdown was lifted by midafternoon, police said.
The lockdown was placed on the school at 1940 Chicksaw Drive about 11:10 a.m., Clark County School District police spokesman Capt. Ken Young said.
The lockdown was lifted at 2:20 p.m., the regular let-out time for students, Young said.
Police did not find a shooter or gun in the area, Young said Friday evening. No arrests were made.
