When the craving for Italian hits, the menu at Cafe Modena satisfies. It has just about everything, including pizzas with all the traditional toppings and specialty pies such as veggie, Spicy Buffalo, Tacizza (mozzarella, cheddar, beef, jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream), Modena Special (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, olives and jalapenos) and white pizzas featuring garlic, Margherita, Greek, spinach and Breakfast with eggs, mozzarella, cheddar and sausage or ham. Several pasta entrees are stuffed shells, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, ravioli with beef, fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna. There are calzones, strombolis, salads (chef, Greek, Caesar, antipasto), hamburgers, chicken wings and fingers, baby back ribs, fried shrimp, grilled wraps, and hot and cold subs, including salami, turkey, Italian combo, meatball, zucchini parmigiana and three cheese. Among the 10 Philly steaks are Pizza Style, Early Bird with egg, Around The World with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, The Double and Modena made with chicken breast. Popular desserts are carrot cake, baklava and cheesecake. Lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ask about the daily specials. Pizzas start at $3.49. Cafe Modena is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
