Literary Las Vegas: Justin Hill

“Zodaccia: Realms of Chaos,” a fantasy book by Las Vegas author Justin Hill, introduces readers to a war between good and evil in a realm invisible to the human eye in a reality parallel but separate from Earth. Hill plans to sign copies of the book at 1 p.m. Nov. 29 at the 567 N. Stephanie St. Barnes & Noble. An excerpt of the book can be found at zincreality.com.

Excerpt:

“Brothers and sisters, I understand your concerns that we have arrived in Final Reality with less than a thirty percent success rate in the containing realities… We all have suffered in this war against darkness. Some of us have witnessed the torture, destruction, and terrorization of our loved ones and the entire planet more than a million realities … some of us more than a trillion. We develop one means to combat the destruction and it seems the beast develops four new ways to thwart our attempts at protecting the fragments of reality that keep us safe from its true nature.

Time and again we are left broken, and beaten, and covered in the blood of our families or the ashes of a planet destroyed … We have seen our home ripped apart by Xanthians, by Humans, and even, unfortunately, ourselves…”
