Fire closes 95 northbound ramp from Flamingo

The on-ramp from Flamingo Road to northbound U.S. Highway 95 is closed because of a vehicle fire, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

A fire under U.S. 95 closed the ramp as smoke drifted over the highway, the Regional Transportation Commission wrote in a release just before 4 p.m. Monday.

Clark County firefighters responded to the blaze about 3:35 p.m. The fire was out before 4:30 p.m., said Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan.

NHP was not immediately available for comment on whether anyone was injured in the crash or when the ramp would open.
