Tears of pride fell when five inmates at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center received their cosmetology licenses in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The correctional center’s gym was transformed into a gradation ceremony as graduates’ families, teachers and supportive inmates watched their cohorts give speeches.
The graduates were Expertise Cosmetology New Path’s first graduating class.
