Henderson K9 unit unhurt after shooting on US 95

The officer said that he noticed a car moving recklessly behind him as he drove southbound on U.S. Highway 95 near Flamingo Road. The car began to pass him and he said he heard seven to 10 gunshots come from it, but he was unable to follow it off the freeway. None of the shots hit the officer’s car.

He described the car as a light-colored Lexus sedan with California plates, and reported a partial plate number beginning in 4 and ending in 26.

The shooting is under investigation.
