Las Vegas police arrest female robbery suspect
A woman was arrested and a robber remained on the run after a Metro SWAT unit responded to a central valley vacant apartment after a robbery, Las Vegas police said.
The timeline was not immediately known, but the robbery occurred Saturday morning near the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Mojave Road, Metro Lt. George Warner said.
After the initial incident, at least one person was believed to have locked himself or herself in a vacant apartment, Warner said.
About 12:30 p.m., as the scene was being cleared, Metro said a woman was arrested, but that a “male suspect” was still on the run.
No further details, including the robber’s description, were immediately available.
