A Metropolitan Police Department patrol car was involved in a crash in the south valley Tuesday morning.
An officer tried a vehicle stop about 5:50 a.m. on the 9600 block of Ensworth Street, near South Point, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said. The vehicle’s driver failed to stop and “rammed” into the patrol vehicle, Meltzer said. The person then drove away from the scene.
Metro is investigating and the driver is at large. No officers were injured in the crash.
