Man in critical condition after collision on U.S. 95
A man was hospitalized in critical condition Friday evening after his car crashed into another on the southbound off-ramp of U.S. Highway 95 to Jones Boulevard.
It happened about 4:45 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Jason Buratczuk said.
"For unknown reasons, two vehicles collided," he said.
The man in critical condition was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit. The driver of the second vehicle suffered unknown injuries and was taken to Centennial Hills Hospital.
"Avoid the area," Buratczuk asked of drivers. NHP accident investigators are on the scene, blocking the ramp.
