Man killed in NLV double shooting identified by coroner
April 12, 2015 - 2:17 pm
The man slain Saturday in a North Las Vegas double shooting was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Sunday.
Tyrone Ford, 36, of Las Vegas, was found lifeless on a sidewalk in the 800 block of Cartier Avenue, near Interstate 15 and Carey Avenue, with at least one gunshot wound, North Las Vegas police said.
Police were called to a second shooting around the block a few minutes later where they found a man who was also shot. He was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
The two men knew each other and it might have been a drive-by shooting. The shooting was not a random act of violence, police said. No arrests had been announced Sunday afternoon.
